Mr. Ware's efforts have produced increases in the discount MARTA pass program, up 75 percent in one year and it jumped again this past year to between 900-950 per month. The carpool program has also grown from 200 carpoolers in 2002 to 570 in 2006.
He was recently elected as an At-Large Board Member for the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) representing Georgia Tech and the City of Atlanta at the national ACT level and at the regional Southeastern (SEACT) level.
