Join us for the 12th Annual Earth Day Celebration!
Booth Registration is Closed!
Georgia Tech's Earth Day Planning Committee has invited over 60 organizations to participate in our 12th Annual Earth Day Celebration scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2009 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. This is our way of recognizing groups' contributions to the environment by giving them an opportunity to share their innovative ideas, programs, and products with the Atlanta community. Hosting a booth at Earth Day 2009 is absolutely free!
Our celebration includes music, alternative fuel vehicle demonstrations and an interactive trivia maze. Earth Day 2008 broke records in the amount of items recycled and it attracted thousands of visitors from Atlanta neighborhoods, businesses, philanthropic organizations, schools, and the Georgia Tech community.
Booth Contest
Each year we host a booth contest. The most informative and most creative booth will each receive an award and/or plaque. Most of all, we want you to join us in celebrating how much we've accomplished as an eco-conscious community and in mapping out how far we have left to go.
